All Things Will Pass

Now the rain storm is past,
It could not forever last.
Through the clouds the light shines,
Illuminating everything it finds.

The water drops like jewels glisten,
The birds now sing if we listen.
A magnificent beam of light surrounded by gray,
Bestows great beauty on the new day.

Life's colors once muted and dark,
Are filled with a luminescent spark.
Life recoiled in the darkness and cold,
Now it returns very stunning and bold.

Life always transforms,
A scene once somber is reformed.
If we have the patience to last,
Into life rays of light will be cast.
