Elation

This waterfall is a personal favorite of mine. Standing in front of it to take this image was a very powerful experience. I loved how the water thundered down the dramatic rocks and the mist enveloped me as I set up my equipment. It was early morning and the light was beginning to filter into the canyon just enough to get a great exposure. The soft light was very ethereal and magical. I love rocks covered in moss and lichens, they add so much character and beauty to any location. On this beautiful morning they filled the canyon with magic as the filtered light gave them a soft glow. I hope this image helps you fill the same emotion of elation that I felt that morning.
