Energy Reflected In Stone

This photo was taken in the beautiful area of Utah called South Coyote Buttes. It is an area of sandstone layers that have different levels of hardness and color. As the weather and other natural processes of erosion have worked on the different layers of sandstone over the centuries fantastic and beautiful formations have come into being. The very rock bears witness and captures the power of the forces that have worked upon it. The energy that has engraved these formations is beautifully etched in stone. The mysterious powers of creation frozen in time. It was a wonderful thing to see.
