Tropical Sanctuary

I have always loved exploring the rainforest. It is such a mystical and enchanting place. You never know what you will discover around the next turn in the path. The rainforest is filled with a filtered soft light that is very ethereal. You get sunbeams coming through the canopy mixing with the moisture rising from the forest floor and you have pure magic. I have always loved Impressionism and painting in an impressionistic style. It allows you to fill the painting with the emotions you felt above all else. As the painter I manipulate light, color, and form until I express to others the feeling of a place. Trying to create visually an experience of the heart.
