Captivating

One of the most interesting aspects of painting is using pigments and the shades of colors they produce to create emotion. Emotion is intangible and something we only experience within, yet it influences us probably more than anything else. Our emotional experience as human beings stands at the very center of what we judge most valuable. It is fascinating that hues of color or notes of sound can recreate in others the emotional experience with which we desire them to be enriched. Doing this in a way that can positively influence another person is one of the most magical and special aspects of art. I hope this painting helps recreate the emotions of ethereal magic we experience within when nature moves us with all it’s beauty, mystery, and energy.
