Summer's Warmth

There is nothing better than being out on a warm summer day in nature feeling the energy and vitality of all the life around you. It is a special treat when you are gifted a spectacular sunset at the end of that wonderful day. Here in this painting I have tried to capture the emotions we feel inside when we experience one of these amazing days. One of the things I love most about romantic Impressionism is its ability to express what we feel through the manipulation of light, color, and shape, not just what we see.
