We Both Seek The Same Star

 Having someone who shares your same convictions and spiritual perspectives will come to be the most important and defining thing about any relationship in the long run. It will define what you prioritize above all else, what you will suffer and sacrifice for, and what you are willing to loose in order to gain that which is of greater value. If you don't share the same spiritual perspective as to what the purpose of life is on its most fundamental level the storms of life will blow your ships in different directions and the relationship will be lost. If on the other hand both of the individual compasses are pointed toward the same star, the winds will blow and the storms will come but the two boats will always rejoin and find each other on the same heading. The shared ideals as represented by the star will pull the two boats back together.
